Voices of AlUla

Voices of AlUla is a documentary centered around the search for sound; the search for what makes up the voice of a place. Through the intimate documentation of the local community in a small Saudi Arabian village, we find the voice of people. Only after this initial definition of voice do we discover the obsession with recording the sound of sand, palm, sun, wind, pollen...

This journey is punctuated by intricate sound design, photographic exploration and the curious wondering ear of the creators.
